Position Summary:
To build and maintain relationships with businesses, churches, organizations, and agencies interested in supporting KGBI through underwriting. This includes offering businesses the opportunity to support Life 100.7, and in return be acknowledged through on-air announcements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate Funding Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, churches, and organizations to support KGBI through underwriting opportunities.
• Develop and Present Proposals: Create customized partnership proposals and present them effectively to prospective and current underwriters.
• Write FCC-Compliant Announcements: Compose 15-second on-air messages that adhere to FCC guidelines for non-commercial broadcasting.
• Coordinate Underwriting Logistics: Serve as the primary liaison between partners and KGBI, ensuring smooth communication, accurate scheduling, and proper execution of underwriting agreements.
• Manage Billing and Revenue Goals: Facilitate billing and payment processes in coordination with the Accounts Receivable team, and collaborate with the Station Manager to meet or exceed underwriting revenue goals.
• Foster Internal Collaboration: Maintain open communication and active cooperation with Programming, Engagement, and other staff involved in supporting and executing funding partnerships.
• Support Station Events: Represent KGBI at events as needed to strengthen community engagement and partner relationships.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Previous incentive-based sales experience a minimum of three years required;
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community

• Written & Verbal Communication: Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
