Position Summary:
Create and execute KGBI Engagement efforts. Develop and nurture relationships with listeners, local ministries, churches and community groups in an effort to increase the visibility and impact of KGBI in the Omaha area. Provide live, on air announcing complementing the ministry of KGBI.

Key Responsibilities:
Engagement:
• Acquire new listeners and strengthen the station’s relationship with current listeners.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate all Engagement efforts including community outreach events, on-air promotion, digital and
• social media efforts, marketing and other station related initiatives.
• Make recommendations and proposals to the Station Manager and Program Director on how to increase community
• awareness of the station.
• Work with the Program Director and administrative staff to collect new names for the station data base at all community
• appearances, contests, concerts and outreach events.
• Secure prizes and premiums.
• Develop Media relationships within the greater Omaha area; provide the Network Marketing team with information for
• press releases.
On-Air Host:
• Host a daily (Mon-Fri), on-air music segment, providing compelling content for the target demographic within station
• format guidelines, as determined by the Program Director. Daily preparation time is required in addition to digital and
• social media contributions.
• Weekend on-air shift (voice track) as assigned by the Program Director.
• Assist with or host podcasts as assigned.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous promotions/event planner experience a minimum of one year; three years strongly preferred
• Previous broadcast experience a plus
Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community

• Independent & Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with minimal supervision.
• Confidentiality: Maintains discretion and handles sensitive information appropriately.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time management and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related software.
• Written & Verbal Communication: Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
• Financial Oversight: Experience managing budgets and financial resources within assigned responsibilities.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
